The 2026 Middle Tennessee Recumbent Rally was a success!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Middle Tennessee Recumbent Rally. We had over 50 riders from 7 states and the day was a great one. We plan to have another rally next year and hope to include multiple day rides when that time comes.
For those who were unable to attend, below is what a typical rally Saturday looks like. Next year, we want to add a Nashville, TN ride and a Monteagle Mountain Goat trail ride. Several individual groups took those rides on themselves this year and had a great time.
The Recumbent Rally Event Schedule for Saturday, June 20, 2026:
7:00 am - Check-in at Recumbent Trikes of Tennessee for your event materials, t-shirt, and goodie bag.
7:30 am - Self-Guided rides start at the park and you can ride along the Murfreesboro Greenway. You can ride with as many people as you choose. We do request that everyone be respectful of other people on the Greenway. If you are experienced on the Murfreesboro Greenway, feel free to lead a ride. At this time Recumbent Trikes of Tennessee does not have the manpower to lead rides. If you are willing to lead a ride, please let us know.
12:00 - 1:30pm - BBQ lunch is served at Pavilion 7 at Barfield Crescent Park
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 pm - Giveaways, Dessert Social at Recumbent Trikes of Tennessee, 4005 Richard Reeves Dr., Murfreesboro, TN 37127
All registered participants will receive an RBOT Recumbent Rally T-shirt and a goodie bag.
This is a casual riding day and you can ride as long as you choose. Our Greenway connects with the Stones River Battlefield, Cannonsburgh Village, and downtown Murfreesboro is easily accessible from the Greenway. Some riders may even choose to ride to MTSU and enjoy the historic campus. There is lots to see and do in Murfreesboro, TN.
